She is excited to see that companies nowadays want to think and measure social impact beyond the hype. Outside of work Agnes enjoys doing yoga, acrobatics and early morning nature walks.

Asa Butcher

Editor

Asa has worked as a copywriter, editor and journalist for almost 20 years. Born in England, he moved to Finland in 2002 and established himself as a freelance writer, before becoming a full-time senior editor at an international media company that focused on China. He loves running, watching movies and is steadily working his way through the BBC’s list of 100 books they think everybody should read before they die.

Asha is a former business journalist with nearly 15 years of multimedia experience working in Asian, Nordic, and European markets. She loves the challenge of a crazy deadline! In her free time Asha plays the hang drum or handpan, an instrument based on the steel pan.

Daniela has several years administrative experience working with global and local companies such as Coca Cola, Hill and Knowlton and Taitomylly. In addition to back office operations, she is also talented in marketing and is fluent in Swedish, Finnish and English. Daniela has a flair for interior design and enjoys spending time with her family and pets, meeting people and travelling.

Denise is a former journalist who has spent nearly 25 years working in print, radio, television and online news and podcasts with Finnish and international media outlets. She has also held senior roles in corporate and marketing communications with Finnish firms operating globally. Denise is a big fan of podcasts, especially true crime stories, and enjoys reading, cooking and exploring nature in her spare time.

Ndéla has worked as a journalist and copywriter for over ten years. She has written for a number of international media outlets, and worked with dozens of Nordic brands. Alongside English, she speaks fluent Finnish and French. Ndéla spends her spare time learning new languages, singing in a choir, and knitting scarves.

Nikhil is an experienced journalist, producer, and content marketer. He has worked with the top news organisations in Asia, creating compelling content on current affairs, business, and human interest topics. In the Nordics, he helps top brands develop their content strategies and take their storytelling to a higher level through a journalistic approach. Nikhil is a big fan of classic rock, old-school movies, and graphic novels.

Payal is a former journalist, editor and entrepreneur. She has more than 20 years of experience in print, broadcast and digital content and has worked with India's largest media conglomerates, CNBC TV18, Bennett Coleman & Co and Business Standard. Payal is likely to be found in a remote part of India when she's not working. She also enjoys reading and watching movies.

Ruut is a journalist with a background in culture reporting, photography and video editing and works primarily with Finnish-language content. Ruut also has a passion for old houses and spectacular Eurovision Song Contest performances.

Sini-Maria worked as a journalist and content creator before joining Spoon as an editor. She likes to experiment with different content formats and is often the first to question the status quo. When not at the office, you can most likely find her out in nature, gaming or studying folklore.

Editor and Project Manager

Tea primarily works with Finnish-language content, and she also works on English and Swedish-language projects. Before joining Spoon, she worked for 11 years as a journalist in some of Finland's biggest media companies. A native of Finnish Lapland, she enjoys spending most of her free time in nature.
