Account Director

Could you be our next Account Director? We are looking for an experienced Account Director who has a history of establishing, maintaining, and growing mutually beneficial and profitable client relationships. The role works closely with our clients and Spoon project teams and reports to the COO. We value experience working in an agency environment and a background in journalism and/or content production would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for one or more clients and will work to develop accounts by understanding their business needs and ensuring that creative and project teams deliver top tier outcomes.

What we expect from you:
  • Experience establishing and maintaining strong client relationships with the potential for continued growth
  • Ability to pitch concepts and ideas in a clear and confident manner for internal and external audiences
  • Skill developing clearly defined client briefs and ensuring our creative teams meet or exceed expectations
  • Experience creating and managing client and project budgets and managing change orders
  • Ability to support and challenge both the client and project teams to push creative solutions to unique business challenges
  • Experience expertly managing communication between client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure peerless outcomes
  • Experience leadering and supervising Spoon’s client teams to ensure the best creative outcomes for client projects
  • Experience with project finances (budgets, quotes, contracts)
You have:
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar position, ideally working in an agency environment
  • Strong oral and written English-language skills
  • Experience collaborating with teams across strategy, design, technology, environment, and content project types, and knowledge of/curiosity about best practices across emerging markets
  • Experience with web-based technologies, including content production and project management tools andstandards and best practices
  • Experience leading visual and tex-based content production, brand, and other similar creative projects

Senior Video Producer

Do you have a strong creative vision and a drive for developing and pitching unique video concepts? If so, you could be the Senior Video Producer we want to play a key role in our clients’ visual storytelling. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading high quality video projects from concept development to post-production and delivery, including scripting, lighting and camera direction, editing, and post-production video editing. If you’re an enthusiastic and energetic professional with a passion for leading ad executing inspired video productions, Spoon could be your professional home.

The role will involve working closely with our account leads and project teams to deliver high-end videos and will report to the COO.

We expect you to:
  • Produce, shoot, lead and guide multiple original video projects from concept, pre-production, production, post-production, and final delivery
  • Present concepts with storyboards/scripts, references and/or any other production design sample work
  • Display unique, creative vision and strong editorial voice, and constantly work to identify new sources of content/talent as well as new formats for storytelling
  • Be familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and other nonlinear editing software
  • Be responsible for sourcing and vetting video and audio assets from other approved sources (E.g. Getty, Shutterstock) for use in projects
  • Be responsible for vetting provenance and IP issues related to third-party sources
  • Identify the right talent, create shot lists and interview questions and handle the daily schedule to ensure timely delivery of video projects
  • Network for talent, offers and new projects
  • Participate in upselling with existing clients as well as sales pitches with new prospects
You have:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the digital, film or TV production and/or an agency background and/or qualification in communications
  • Experience in live and online video event production
  • Strong oral and written English-language skills
  • A background in journalism with some newsroom experience
  • Experience storyboarding and writing scripts for video
  • Experience interpreting creative briefs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead video teams

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Can develop and confidently pitch content ideas internally and to clients
  • Is comfortable working with content management systems

You have:
  • Minimum 5 years copywriting experience
  • English- and Finnish-language writing skills with a flair for telling engaging stories
  • Qualifications in journalism, communications or other related fields
  • A background in journalism with some newsroom experience
  • Experience storyboarding and writing scripts for video
  • A good eye for the visual representation of a story
  • Experience writing for B2B companies
